The project
From rebuilding to distance.
A long-term rebuild. A clear goal. A road to 2030.
Rebuilt for Distance documents my rebuild towards the Davos X-Trails Gold 43 km in 2030: as long-term work on resilience, trust and endurance.
The core of the project
The trail is the goal. The rebuild is the story.
Rebuilt for Distance connects the visible goal with the road being built before it.
Training, everyday life, recovery, faith and book development all connect. Everything serves the same question:
What helps a person move reliably towards distance again after physical setbacks?
The starting point
I rebuild with responsibility.
With a total knee replacement, training needs clear guidance, patience and responsibility. Every step forward comes from clean load, recovery and honest body awareness.
That means building load, observing reactions, placing breaks deliberately, evaluating experience and taking the body seriously.
Rebuilt for Distance stands for rebuilding with posture and responsible endurance.

The goal image
Davos X-Trails Gold 43 km.
2030 is deliberately far away. Not because I am avoiding the work. But because real rebuilding takes time.
The Davos X-Trails Gold 43 km is a goal that demands structure. It requires endurance, planning, respect for the terrain and a resilient system. That is exactly why it fits this project.
The body sets the pace. The goal gives the direction.

How success is measured
More than kilometres.
In this project, success means more than distance, pace or a final goal image.
Success means:
not just reaching a finish line in 2030, but arriving there changed as a person.
- showing up consistently
- taking the body seriously
- classifying experience cleanly
- delivering reliably
- documenting progress visibly
- staying with it until 2030
